विदेहराजस्य सुतां यशस्विनीं ततो ऽब्रवीत्तां भव मे वशानुगा ॥४३॥

43. sa vidyujjihvena sahaiva tacchiro dhanuśca bhūmau vinikīrya rāvaṇaḥ ,

sa Rāvaṇaḥ vidyut-jihvena saha eva tat śiraḥ dhanuḥ ca bhūmau vinikīrya,

"me vaśa-anugā bhava!"

Rāvaṇa, having scattered that head and bow on the ground along with Vidyujjihva, then said to the glorious daughter of the Videha king (Sītā), "Be obedient to me!"
