वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-12, verse-51

एवं तु मत्वा हनुमान्महात्मा प्रतीक्षमाणो मनुजेन्द्रपत्नीम् ।
अवेक्षमाणश्च ददर्श सर्वं सुपुष्पिते पर्णघने निलीनः ॥५१॥
51. evaṃ tu matvā hanumānmahātmā pratīkṣamāṇo manujendrapatnīm ,
avekṣamāṇaśca dadarśa sarvaṃ supuṣpite parṇaghane nilīnaḥ.

51. Having thought thus, the great-souled (mahātmā) Hanuman, while waiting for the wife of the king of men, hidden in the densely flowered foliage, observed everything.
