वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-4, verse-41

अमोघं बत मे क्षान्तं पुरुषे पुष्करेक्षणे ।
येयमिक्ष्वाकुराज्यश्रीः पुत्र त्वां संश्रयिष्यति ॥४१॥
41. amoghaṃ bata me kṣāntaṃ puruṣe puṣkarekṣaṇe ,
yeyamikṣvākurājyaśrīḥ putra tvāṃ saṃśrayiṣyati.

iyam ikṣvākurājyaśrīḥ putra tvām saṃśrayiṣyati
41. putra me kṣāntam amogham bata puṣkarekṣaṇe puruṣe

41. O son, my forbearance (kṣāntam) concerning this lotus-eyed person (puruṣa) has indeed not been in vain, for this prosperity (śrīḥ) of the Ikshvaku kingdom will now take refuge in you.
