वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-4, verse-36

सीतयाप्युपवस्तव्या रजनीयं मया सह ।
एवमृत्विगुपाध्यायैः सह मामुक्तवान्पिता ॥३६॥
36. sītayāpyupavastavyā rajanīyaṃ mayā saha ,
evamṛtvigupādhyāyaiḥ saha māmuktavānpitā.
36. sītayā api upavastavyā rajanī iyam mayā saha
evam ṛtvigupādhyāyaiḥ saha mām uktavān pitā
36. sītayā api iyam rajanī mayā saha upavastavyā;
evam pitā ṛtvigupādhyāyaiḥ saha mām uktavān
36. "This night must also be spent by Sītā along with me. Thus, my father spoke to me in the presence of the priests and teachers."
