वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-4, verse-13

जातमिष्टमपत्यं मे त्वमद्यानुपमं भुवि ।
दत्तमिष्टमधीतं च मया पुरुषसत्तम ॥१३॥
13. jātamiṣṭamapatyaṃ me tvamadyānupamaṃ bhuvi ,
dattamiṣṭamadhītaṃ ca mayā puruṣasattama.
13. jātam iṣṭam apatyam me tvam adya anupamam bhuvi
dattam iṣṭam adhītam ca mayā puruṣasattama
13. puruṣasattama adya tvam me iṣṭam anupamam apatyam bhuvi jātam (asi).

13. O best among men (puruṣa), today you are born as my beloved and incomparable child on earth. By me, desired donations have been given, Vedic rituals (yajña) performed, and studies completed.
