वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-4, verse-39

वत्स राम चिरं जीव हतास्ते परिपन्थिनः ।
ज्ञातीन्मे त्वं श्रिया युक्तः सुमित्रायाश्च नन्दय ॥३९॥
39. vatsa rāma ciraṃ jīva hatāste paripanthinaḥ ,
jñātīnme tvaṃ śriyā yuktaḥ sumitrāyāśca nandaya.
39. vatsa rāma ciram jīva hatāḥ te paripanthinaḥ |
jñātīn me tvam śriyā yuktaḥ sumitrāyāḥ ca nandaya
39. vatsa rāma ciram jīva te paripanthinaḥ hatāḥ tvam

39. Dear son Rāma, may you live long! Your enemies are destroyed. May you, endowed with prosperity and glory, bring joy to my relatives and to Sumitrā's.
