बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-7, verse-12

ग्रहस्थितिवशाज्ज्ञेयं द्विराश्यधिपतिस्तथा ।
मध्येऽनुपाततो ज्ञेयं ओजयुग्मर्क्षभेदतः ॥१२॥
12. grahasthitivaśājjñeyaṃ dvirāśyadhipatistathā .
madhye'nupātato jñeyaṃ ojayugmarkṣabhedataḥ.
12. grahasthitivāt jñeyaṃ dvirāśyadhipatiḥ tathā
madhye anupātataḥ jñeyaṃ ojayugmarkṣabhedataḥ
12. The strength (of a planet) should be determined based on its position, and similarly, for the lord of two signs. The strength (in intermediate positions) should be known by interpolation, considering the distinction between odd and even signs.
