मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-68, verse-46

मिश्रावलोकनान्मिश्राः स्वभावफलदायिनः ।
यथाख्यातस्वभावस्तु भवत्येव विलोकनात् ।
सर्वेषामाधिपत्ये च श्रीरेषां द्विजपद्मिनी ॥४६॥
46. miśrāvalokanānmiśrāḥ svabhāvaphaladāyinaḥ .
yathākhyātasvabhāvastu bhavatyeva vilokanāt .
sarveṣāmādhipatye ca śrīreṣāṃ dvijapadminī.
46. miśrāvalokanāt miśrāḥ svabhāvaphaladāyinaḥ
yathākhyātasvabhāvaḥ tu
bhavati eva vilokanāt sarveṣām
ādhipatye ca śrīḥ eṣām dvijapadminī
46. From the observation of their mixtures, the mixed types [of treasures] yield results according to their intrinsic nature (svabhāva). However, a clearly described intrinsic nature (svabhāva) manifests simply through observation. And presiding over all of these, their prosperity (śrīḥ) is embodied by a `dvijapadminī` (brahmin woman).
