मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-68, verse-22

कर्मस्थानखिलांश्चैव न विश्वसिति कस्यचित् ।
समस्तानि यथाङ्गानि संहरत्येव कच्छपः ॥२२॥
22. karmasthānakhilāṃścaiva na viśvasiti kasyacit .
samastāni yathāṅgāni saṃharatyeva kacchapaḥ.

samastāni yathā aṅgāni saṃharati eva kacchapaḥ
22. He does not trust anyone, not even all those in positions of work. Just as a tortoise completely retracts all its limbs.
