upaiti stambham adhikam naraḥ tena avalokitaḥ

A man (naraḥ), when observed (avalokitaḥ) by such (a treasure or its possessor) (tena), becomes greatly stupefied or paralyzed (stambham adhikam upaiti). This treasure consists of all metals and jewels, as well as sacred grains and other similar things.
