मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-68, verse-41

त्रिपौरुषश्चापि निधिर्नीलो नामैष जायते ।
रजस्तमोमयश्चान्यः शङ्खसंज्ञो हि यो निधिः ॥४१॥
41. tripauruṣaścāpi nidhirnīlo nāmaiṣa jāyate .
rajastamomayaścānyaḥ śaṅkhasaṃjño hi yo nidhiḥ.
41. tripauruṣaḥ ca api nidhiḥ nīlaḥ nāma eṣaḥ jāyate |
rajastamomayaḥ ca anyaḥ śaṅkhasaṃjñaḥ hi yaḥ nidhiḥ
41. This treasure, called Nīla, endures for three generations. There is also another treasure, named Śaṅkha, which is indeed characterized by the qualities of passion (rajas) and ignorance (tamas).
