मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-68, verse-12

संपादयति कामांश्च सर्वानेव यथाक्रमम् ।
सभां देवनिकेतांश्च स कारयति तन्मनाः ।
सत्त्वाधारो निधिश्चान्यो महापद्म इति श्रुतः ॥१२॥
12. saṃpādayati kāmāṃśca sarvāneva yathākramam .
sabhāṃ devaniketāṃśca sa kārayati tanmanāḥ ,
sattvādhāro nidhiścānyo mahāpadma iti śrutaḥ.
12. sattvādhāraḥ nidhiḥ ca anyaḥ mahāpadmaḥ
iti śrutaḥ saṃpādayati kāmān
ca sarvān eva yathākramam sabhām
devaniketān ca sa kārayati tanmanāḥ
12. Another treasure (nidhi), known as Mahāpadma, is said to be the foundation of all beings (sattva). It fulfills all desires sequentially. With its mind focused on them, it causes assembly halls and temples to be constructed.
