मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
तासां संभ्रममालोक्य भगवान् पाकशासनः ।
पृच्छ्यतां मुनिरित्याह वक्ता यां वो गुणाधिकाम् ॥३८॥

38. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
tāsāṃ saṃbhramamālokya bhagavān pākaśāsanaḥ .
pṛcchyatāṃ munirityāha vaktā yāṃ vo guṇādhikām.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: Having observed the agitation of those women, the revered Indra (Pākaśāsana) then said, 'Let the sage be asked which among you is superior in qualities.'
