महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-7, verse-43

एवमेते बलौघेन परस्परवधैषिणः ।
उपयाता नरव्याघ्राः पूर्वां संध्यां प्रति प्रभो ॥४३॥
43. evamete balaughena parasparavadhaiṣiṇaḥ ,
upayātā naravyāghrāḥ pūrvāṁ saṁdhyāṁ prati prabho.

43. In this manner, O lord, these tigers among men, eager to kill each other, advanced with their masses of troops towards the morning twilight.
