महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-7, verse-35

सुसंरब्धेषु पार्थेषु पराक्रान्तेषु संजय ।
मामकानां परेषां च किं शिष्टमभवद्बलम् ॥३५॥
35. susaṁrabdheṣu pārtheṣu parākrānteṣu saṁjaya ,
māmakānāṁ pareṣāṁ ca kiṁ śiṣṭamabhavadbalam.

māmakānām pareṣām ca kim śiṣṭam abhavat balam
35. saṃjaya,
[yadā] pārtheṣu susaṃrabdheṣu parākrānteṣu [satsū],

35. ...with the sons of Pritha (Pandavas) greatly enraged and valorous, O Sanjaya, what strength (balam) was left to my people and to the enemies?
