महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-7, verse-36

संजय उवाच ।
यथा वयं परे राजन्युद्धाय समवस्थिताः ।
यावच्चासीद्बलं शिष्टं संग्रामे तन्निबोध मे ॥३६॥
36. saṁjaya uvāca ,
yathā vayaṁ pare rājanyuddhāya samavasthitāḥ ,
yāvaccāsīdbalaṁ śiṣṭaṁ saṁgrāme tannibodha me.
36. sañjaya uvāca yathā vayam pare rājan yuddhāya samavasthitāḥ
yāvat ca āsīt balam śiṣṭam saṅgrāme tat nibodha me
36. sañjaya uvāca rājan yathā vayam pare yuddhāya
samavasthitāḥ ca yāvat śiṣṭam balam saṅgrāme tat me nibodha
36. Sañjaya said: "O King, just as we stood arrayed for battle against the other side, learn from me the extent of the forces that remained in the war."
