दिष्ट्या मया युयुत्सता नित्यम् उत्साहः च कृतःदिष्ट्या च अस्मि युद्धे निहतज्ञातिबान्धवः हतः।

Fortunately, I always maintained my enthusiasm (utsāha) for battle, desiring to fight. And fortunately, I have been killed in this war, having seen my kinsmen and relatives (jñāti-bāndhava) also slain.
