महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-64, verse-24

दिष्ट्या नाहं परावृत्तो युद्धे कस्यांचिदापदि ।
दिष्ट्याहं निहतः पापैश्छलेनैव विशेषतः ॥२४॥
24. diṣṭyā nāhaṁ parāvṛtto yuddhe kasyāṁcidāpadi ,
diṣṭyāhaṁ nihataḥ pāpaiśchalenaiva viśeṣataḥ.

24. Luckily, I never retreated in any calamity during battle. Fortunately, I was killed by the wicked, especially through deceit alone.
