महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-64, verse-23

सोऽयं मां समनुप्राप्तः प्रत्यक्षं भवतां हि यः ।
पृथिवीं पालयित्वाहमेतां निष्ठामुपागतः ॥२३॥
23. so'yaṁ māṁ samanuprāptaḥ pratyakṣaṁ bhavatāṁ hi yaḥ ,
pṛthivīṁ pālayitvāhametāṁ niṣṭhāmupāgataḥ.
23. saḥ ayam mām samanuprāptaḥ pratyakṣam bhavatām hi
yaḥ pṛthivīm pālayitvā aham etām niṣṭhām upāgataḥ
23. yaḥ saḥ ayam [vināśaḥ] hi bhavatām pratyakṣam mām
samanuprāptaḥ aham pṛthivīm pālayitvā etām niṣṭhām upāgataḥ
23. Indeed, this very [destruction] which is manifest before your eyes, has now reached me. Having protected this earth, I have arrived at this end.
