महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-12, verse-8

ततः सविशिखं चापं सहदेवस्य धन्विनः ।
छित्त्वा भल्लेन समरे विव्याधैनं त्रिसप्तभिः ॥८॥
8. tataḥ saviśikhaṁ cāpaṁ sahadevasya dhanvinaḥ ,
chittvā bhallena samare vivyādhainaṁ trisaptabhiḥ.

8. Then, in battle, having cut the arrow-equipped bow of the archer Sahadeva with a spear, he (Shalya) pierced him (Sahadeva) with seventy-three (arrows).
