महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-12, verse-12

ततः शल्यो महाराज निर्विद्धस्तैर्महारथैः ।
सुस्राव रुधिरं गात्रैर्गैरिकं पर्वतो यथा ॥१२॥
12. tataḥ śalyo mahārāja nirviddhastairmahārathaiḥ ,
susrāva rudhiraṁ gātrairgairikaṁ parvato yathā.

12. Then, O great king, Shalya, having been pierced by those great warriors (mahārathas), poured forth blood from his limbs, just as a mountain pours forth red ochre.
