Then Bhimasena hurled an iron arrow (nārāca) that was like a burning snake. Nakula, in battle, hurled a spear (śakti). Sahadeva hurled an auspicious mace (gadā). And Dharmaraja (king of (dharma)) Yudhishthira, desiring to slay Salya in battle, hurled a shataghni weapon.
