महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-12, verse-33

तस्मिंस्तु निहते शूरे चक्ररक्षे महारथे ।
मद्रराजोऽतिबलवान्सैनिकानास्तृणोच्छरैः ॥३३॥
33. tasmiṁstu nihate śūre cakrarakṣe mahārathe ,
madrarājo'tibalavānsainikānāstṛṇoccharaiḥ.
33. tasmin tu nihate śūre cakrarakṣe mahārathe
madrarājaḥ atibalavān sainikān āstṛṇot śaraiḥ
33. tu tasmin nihate śūre cakrarakṣe mahārathe
madrarājaḥ atibalavān sainikān śaraiḥ āstṛṇot
33. But when that brave, great chariot-warrior who was the chariot-wheel protector was killed, the exceedingly powerful king of Madras (Shalya) overwhelmed the enemy soldiers with arrows.
