महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-12, verse-24

शराभ्यां च शतघ्नीं तां राज्ञश्चिच्छेद भारत ।
पश्यतां पाण्डुपुत्राणां सिंहनादं ननाद च ।
नामृष्यत्तं तु शैनेयः शत्रोर्विजयमाहवे ॥२४॥
24. śarābhyāṁ ca śataghnīṁ tāṁ rājñaściccheda bhārata ,
paśyatāṁ pāṇḍuputrāṇāṁ siṁhanādaṁ nanāda ca ,
nāmṛṣyattaṁ tu śaineyaḥ śatrorvijayamāhave.
24. śarābhyām ca śataghnīm tām rājñaḥ
ciccheda bhārata paśyatām pāṇḍuputrāṇām
siṃhanādam nanāda ca na amṛṣyat
tam tu śaineyaḥ śatroḥ vijayam āhave

24. O Bhārata, he cut that śataghnī of the king with two arrows and roared a lion's roar as the Pāṇḍava brothers watched. However, Śaineya (Sātyaki) could not tolerate the enemy's victory in that battle.
