महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-89, verse-3

नातिवृद्धमबालं च न कृशं नातिपीवरम् ।
लघुवृत्तायतप्राणं सारगात्रमनामयम् ॥३॥
3. nātivṛddhamabālaṁ ca na kṛśaṁ nātipīvaram ,
laghuvṛttāyataprāṇaṁ sāragātramanāmayam.

laghuvṛttāyataprāṇam sāragātram anāmayam
3. saḥ na ativṛddham na ca abālam,

3. He should be neither too old nor a child, neither too thin nor excessively fat. He should possess light movement and extended breath, a solid physique, and be free from illness.
