तं श्रुत्वा तु महानादं धर्मपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः ।
सैन्धवं निहतं मेने फल्गुनेन महात्मना ॥४३॥

43. Upon hearing that great roar, Yudhiṣṭhira, the son of natural law (dharma), indeed understood that the king of Sindhu (Jayadratha) had been slain by the great-souled Phalguna (Arjuna).
