महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-94, verse-45

भवतां च कुरुश्रेष्ठ कुलं बहुमतं भुवि ।
तत्तथैवास्तु भद्रं ते स्वार्थमेवानुचिन्तय ॥४५॥
45. bhavatāṁ ca kuruśreṣṭha kulaṁ bahumataṁ bhuvi ,
tattathaivāstu bhadraṁ te svārthamevānucintaya.
45. bhavatām ca kuruśreṣṭha kulam bahumatam bhuvi tat
tathā eva astu bhadram te svārtham eva anucintaya
45. O best among the Kurus, your family (kula) is highly esteemed on earth. Let that be just so, and may welfare (bhadraṃ) be yours; therefore, consider only your own self-interest.
