महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-94, verse-37

तस्माद्यावद्धनुःश्रेष्ठे गाण्डीवेऽस्त्रं न युज्यते ।
तावत्त्वं मानमुत्सृज्य गच्छ राजन्धनंजयम् ॥३७॥
37. tasmādyāvaddhanuḥśreṣṭhe gāṇḍīve'straṁ na yujyate ,
tāvattvaṁ mānamutsṛjya gaccha rājandhanaṁjayam.
37. tasmāt yāvat dhanuḥśreṣṭhe gāṇḍīve astram na yujyate
tāvat tvam mānam utsṛjya gaccha rājan dhanañjayam
37. Therefore, O King, as long as an arrow is not fitted to the excellent bow Gandiva, you should abandon your pride and go to Dhananjaya (Arjuna).
