अस्त्रमप्रतिसंधेयं तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ॥२८॥

Then the unconquered sage (Viśvāmitra) released that terrible reed-weapon (aiṣīka-astra) for him, which was impossible to counter. It became as if a wondrous sight.
