महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-94, verse-28

ततोऽस्मै प्रासृजद्घोरमैषीकमपराजितः ।
अस्त्रमप्रतिसंधेयं तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ॥२८॥
28. tato'smai prāsṛjadghoramaiṣīkamaparājitaḥ ,
astramapratisaṁdheyaṁ tadadbhutamivābhavat.
28. tataḥ asmai prāsṛjat ghoram aiṣīkam aparājitaḥ
astram apratisaṃdheyam tat adbhutam iva abhavat
28. Then the unconquered sage (Viśvāmitra) released that terrible reed-weapon (aiṣīka-astra) for him, which was impossible to counter. It became as if a wondrous sight.
