23.
A vaishya, having studied, accumulating and diligently protecting wealth through agriculture, cow protection, and trade, and performing what is beneficial for brahmins and kshatriyas, being of virtuous conduct (dharmaśīla) and a doer of meritorious deeds, should reside in his home.
