महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-176, verse-40

स हि लुब्धश्च मानी च जितकाशी च भार्गव ।
तस्मात्प्रतिक्रिया कर्तुं युक्ता तस्मै त्वयानघ ॥४०॥
40. sa hi lubdhaśca mānī ca jitakāśī ca bhārgava ,
tasmātpratikriyā kartuṁ yuktā tasmai tvayānagha.

40. Indeed, O descendant of Bhṛgu (Bhārgava), he is greedy, proud, and desirous of triumph. Therefore, O sinless one, it is proper for you to take action against him.
