महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-176, verse-34

अथ वा ते मतिस्तत्र राजपुत्रि निवर्तते ।
तावच्छाल्वपतिं वीरं योजयाम्यत्र कर्मणि ॥३४॥
34. atha vā te matistatra rājaputri nivartate ,
tāvacchālvapatiṁ vīraṁ yojayāmyatra karmaṇi.

tāvat śālvapatim vīram yojayāmi atra karmaṇi
34. atha vā rājaputri,
te matiḥ tatra nivartate cet,

34. Or, O princess, if your mind (mati) turns away from him in that matter, then meanwhile, I will engage the brave lord of Salva in this task.
