महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-4, verse-35

अमात्यो हि बलाद्भोक्तुं राजानं प्रार्थयेत्तु यः ।
न स तिष्ठेच्चिरं स्थानं गच्छेच्च प्राणसंशयम् ॥३५॥
35. amātyo hi balādbhoktuṁ rājānaṁ prārthayettu yaḥ ,
na sa tiṣṭhecciraṁ sthānaṁ gacchecca prāṇasaṁśayam.
35. amātyaḥ hi balāt bhoktum rājānam prārthayet tu yaḥ
na sa tiṣṭhet ciram sthānam gacchet ca prāṇasaṃśayam
35. Indeed, that minister who forcibly seeks to exploit the king will not long retain his position and will instead face a danger to his life.
