महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-4, verse-26

ऐश्वर्यं प्राप्य दुष्प्रापं प्रियं प्राप्य च राजतः ।
अप्रमत्तो भवेद्राज्ञः प्रियेषु च हितेषु च ॥२६॥
26. aiśvaryaṁ prāpya duṣprāpaṁ priyaṁ prāpya ca rājataḥ ,
apramatto bhavedrājñaḥ priyeṣu ca hiteṣu ca.

26. Having attained hard-to-gain sovereignty (aiśvarya) and having received the king's favor, one should be vigilant concerning the king's favorites and his beneficial interests.
