महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-38, verse-11

स्पृष्टवन्तं शरीरं मां शववाहमिवाशुचिम् ।
कथं वा व्यवहार्यं वै कुर्वीथास्त्वं बृहन्नडे ॥११॥
11. spṛṣṭavantaṁ śarīraṁ māṁ śavavāhamivāśucim ,
kathaṁ vā vyavahāryaṁ vai kurvīthāstvaṁ bṛhannaḍe.
11. spṛṣṭavantam śarīram mām śavavāham iva aśucim
katham vā vyavahāryam vai kurvīthāḥ tvam bṛhannade
11. O Bṛhannadā, how can you consider me, whose body has touched (the corpse) and is therefore impure (aśucim) like a corpse-bearer, to be fit for interaction?
