महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-62, verse-30

स कदाचिद्वने वीरः कस्मिंश्चित्कारणान्तरे ।
क्षुत्परीतः सुविमनास्तदप्येकं व्यसर्जयत् ॥३०॥
30. sa kadācidvane vīraḥ kasmiṁścitkāraṇāntare ,
kṣutparītaḥ suvimanāstadapyekaṁ vyasarjayat.
30. saḥ kadācit vane vīraḥ kasmin cit kāraṇāntare
kṣutparītaḥ suvimanāḥ tat api ekam vyasarjayat
30. One time, while in the forest, that hero, for some other reason, was afflicted by hunger and became greatly distressed in mind. He even cast off his one remaining garment.
