महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-282, verse-9

पुनरुक्त्वा च करुणां वाचं तौ शोककर्शितौ ।
हा पुत्र हा साध्वि वधूः क्वासि क्वासीत्यरोदताम् ॥९॥
9. punaruktvā ca karuṇāṁ vācaṁ tau śokakarśitau ,
hā putra hā sādhvi vadhūḥ kvāsi kvāsītyarodatām.
9. punaḥ uktvā ca karuṇām vācam tau śokakarśitau hā
putra hā sādhvi vadhūḥ kva asi kva asi iti arodātām
9. And those two, emaciated by grief, once again uttered a piteous cry, lamenting, "Alas, son! Alas, chaste daughter-in-law! Where are you? Where are you?"
