महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-282, verse-18

माण्डव्य उवाच ।
यथा वदन्ति शान्तायां दिशि वै मृगपक्षिणः ।
पार्थिवी च प्रवृत्तिस्ते तथा जीवति सत्यवान् ॥१८॥
18. māṇḍavya uvāca ,
yathā vadanti śāntāyāṁ diśi vai mṛgapakṣiṇaḥ ,
pārthivī ca pravṛttiste tathā jīvati satyavān.
18. māṇḍavyaḥ uvāca yathā vadanti śāntāyām diśi vai
mṛgapakṣiṇaḥ pārthivī ca pravṛttiḥ te tathā jīvati satyavān
18. Māṇḍavya said: "Just as the animals and birds make auspicious sounds in a peaceful direction, and as your earthly disposition (pravṛtti) indicates, so too Satyavān lives."
