yathā tava nirartho'yamārambhastridaśeśvara ,
tathā yadi mamāpīdaṁ manyase pākaśāsana.

Yavakri said: "O Lord of the thirty (gods) (tridaśeśvara), just as this endeavor of yours is useless, so too, O Chastiser of Pāka (pākaśāsana), if you consider this effort of mine to be so [i.e., useless]..."
