यवक्रीरुवाच ।
द्विजानामनधीता वै वेदाः सुरगणार्चित ।
प्रतिभान्त्विति तप्येऽहमिदं परमकं तपः ॥१९॥

dvijānāmanadhītā vai vedāḥ suragaṇārcita ,
pratibhāntviti tapye'hamidaṁ paramakaṁ tapaḥ.

19. Yavakri spoke: "O one worshipped by hosts of gods, I am undertaking this supreme penance (tapas) so that the Vedas, though they have not been studied by brāhmaṇas, may appear to me."
