महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-135, verse-32

यदास्य वदतो वाक्यं न स चक्रे द्विजोत्तमः ।
वालुकाभिस्ततः शक्रो गङ्गां समभिपूरयन् ॥३२॥
32. yadāsya vadato vākyaṁ na sa cakre dvijottamaḥ ,
vālukābhistataḥ śakro gaṅgāṁ samabhipūrayan.

vālukābhiḥ tataḥ śakraḥ gaṅgām samabhipūrayan
32. When Yavakrīta, the best among the twice-born (dvija), did not heed his words as he spoke, then Indra (Śakra) began to completely fill the Ganges (Gaṅgā) with sand.
