महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-126, verse-7

अनपत्यस्तु राजर्षिः स महात्मा दृढव्रतः ।
मन्त्रिष्वाधाय तद्राज्यं वननित्यो बभूव ह ॥७॥
7. anapatyastu rājarṣiḥ sa mahātmā dṛḍhavrataḥ ,
mantriṣvādhāya tadrājyaṁ vananityo babhūva ha.
7. anapatyaḥ tu rājarṣiḥ sa mahātmā dṛḍhavrataḥ
mantriṣu ādhāya tat rājyam vananityaḥ babhūva ha
7. But that great-souled (mahātman) royal sage, firm in his vows (vrata) and childless, entrusted his kingdom to his ministers and indeed became one who constantly dwells in the forest.
