महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-126, verse-34

तस्येयं वसुसंपूर्णा वसुधा वसुधाधिप ।
तेनेष्टं विविधैर्यज्ञैर्बहुभिः स्वाप्तदक्षिणैः ॥३४॥

iṣṭam vividhaiḥ yajñaiḥ bahubhiḥ svāptadakṣiṇaiḥ

34. O King, this earth of his was filled with treasures. He performed many and various ritual Vedic rituals (yajña) for which the ritual fees were duly given.

34. הו אדון הארץ, הארץ הזאת המלאה עושר הייתה שלו. הוא ערך טקסים וודיים רבים ומגוונים, ובכולם שולמו שכר טקס נדיב ותרומות במלואם.
