महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-126, verse-34

तस्येयं वसुसंपूर्णा वसुधा वसुधाधिप ।
तेनेष्टं विविधैर्यज्ञैर्बहुभिः स्वाप्तदक्षिणैः ॥३४॥
34. tasyeyaṁ vasusaṁpūrṇā vasudhā vasudhādhipa ,
teneṣṭaṁ vividhairyajñairbahubhiḥ svāptadakṣiṇaiḥ.
34. tasya iyam vasusampūrṇā vasudhā vasudhādhipa tena
iṣṭam vividhaiḥ yajñaiḥ bahubhiḥ svāptadakṣiṇaiḥ
34. O King, this earth of his was filled with treasures. He performed many and various ritual Vedic rituals (yajña) for which the ritual fees were duly given.
