महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-126, verse-19

मया ह्यत्राहितं ब्रह्म तप आस्थाय दारुणम् ।
पुत्रार्थं तव राजर्षे महाबलपराक्रम ॥१९॥
19. mayā hyatrāhitaṁ brahma tapa āsthāya dāruṇam ,
putrārthaṁ tava rājarṣe mahābalaparākrama.
19. mayā hi atra āhitam brahma tapaḥ āsthāya dāruṇam
| putra-artham tava rājarṣe mahā-bala-parākrama
19. Here, by me, having undertaken fierce austerity (tapas), the creative power (brahman) has been established for the sake of a son for you, O royal sage, one possessing great strength and valor.
