महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-62, verse-40

संभवन्ति ततः शुक्रात्प्राणिनः पृथिवीपते ।
अग्नीषोमौ हि तच्छुक्रं प्रजनः पुष्यतश्च ह ॥४०॥
40. saṁbhavanti tataḥ śukrātprāṇinaḥ pṛthivīpate ,
agnīṣomau hi tacchukraṁ prajanaḥ puṣyataśca ha.

40. From that seminal fluid (śukra), living beings are born, O lord of the earth. Indeed, Agni and Soma themselves constitute that procreative (śukra), and they nourish (the beings).
