महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-57, verse-15

स्थण्डिले शयमानानां गृहाणि शयनानि च ।
चीरवल्कलवासोभिर्वासांस्याभरणानि च ॥१५॥
15. sthaṇḍile śayamānānāṁ gṛhāṇi śayanāni ca ,
cīravalkalavāsobhirvāsāṁsyābharaṇāni ca.

15. For those who sleep on the bare ground (sthaṇḍila), the ground itself serves as their home and bed. Their garments and ornaments are (made) of bark strips and rags.
