महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-57, verse-22

स्वयं प्रहर्तादाता च वश्यात्मा वश्यसाधनः ।
काले दाता च भोक्ता च शुद्धाचारस्तथैव च ॥२२॥
22. svayaṁ prahartādātā ca vaśyātmā vaśyasādhanaḥ ,
kāle dātā ca bhoktā ca śuddhācārastathaiva ca.

22. He whose self (ātman) is controlled, whose means are under control, who himself is a protector and a giver, who gives and enjoys at the proper time, and whose conduct is pure.
