महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-101, verse-35

अमित्रा हृष्टमनसः प्रत्युद्यान्ति पलायिनम् ।
जयिनं सुहृदस्तात वन्दनैर्मङ्गलेन च ॥३५॥
35. amitrā hṛṣṭamanasaḥ pratyudyānti palāyinam ,
jayinaṁ suhṛdastāta vandanairmaṅgalena ca.

jayinam suhṛdaḥ tāta vandanaiḥ maṅgalena ca

35. O dear one, enemies with joyful hearts approach the one who flees, while friends meet the victorious one with greetings and auspicious blessings.
