महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-101, verse-27

अनीकं ये प्रभिन्दन्ति भिन्नं ये स्थगयन्ति च ।
समानाशनपानास्ते कार्या द्विगुणवेतनाः ॥२७॥

27. anīkaṁ ye prabhindanti bhinnaṁ ye sthagayanti ca ,
samānāśanapānāste kāryā dviguṇavetanāḥ.

27. Those who pierce the enemy's battle formation (anīkam), and those who cover (or seal) a breach (bhinnam) [in their own ranks], they should be made to share meals and drinks [with others of status] and be given double wages.
