महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-101, verse-33

हित्वा पलायमानस्य सहायान्प्राणसंशये ।
अमित्रैरनुबद्धस्य द्विषतामस्तु नस्तथा ॥३३॥
33. hitvā palāyamānasya sahāyānprāṇasaṁśaye ,
amitrairanubaddhasya dviṣatāmastu nastathā.

amitraih anubaddhasya dviṣatām astu naḥ tathā
33. naḥ prāṇasaṃśaye sahāyān hitvā palāyamānasya

33. May it be to us as it is to our enemies: (the fate of one) who, abandoning his companions when his life is in danger, flees and is pursued by foes.
